Why use Virtasalmen Viljatuote’s raw materials?

All our mill products are made from high-quality, naturally gluten-free raw materials. Deliveries from our own warehouse ensure fast and precise service.

We mill, mix, and package products ourselves in Virtasalmi, investing in domestic labor, fast order processing, and delivery reliability. In our production, we only process gluten-free raw materials and regularly conduct gluten analyses to guarantee the safety of our products for our customers.

Safe, certified products.
Products manufactured and marketed by Virtasalmen Viljatuote do not contain any preservatives, nor do we use wheat starch. Our operations have been audited, and we were granted the FSSC 22000 food safety certificate in August 2019. Many of our consumer products bear the Gluten-Free Product label administered by the Association of European Coeliac Societies.

We are at your service.

Products in our selection are usually always available for immediate delivery from our own warehouse.
We send freight shipments twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The product range for professionals is more extensive compared to consumer products. Our typical sack size is 25 kg, and we can also deliver so-called mixed pallets containing an assortment of different products and package sizes from 500 g to 25 kg, tailored to the customer’s individual needs. In addition, some products are also available in bulk bags, which can weigh 500 – 900 kg. Please request a quote for bulk bags from customer service or sales.

In consumer sales, most packages are 500 g, but it is also worth considering including the popular 3 kg economy packs in your selection. Our popular flour mixes, developed in-house, complement the comprehensive range of gluten-free flours, flakes, and other mill products. Also remember the gluten-free and vegan Spoothie snack product!

If you bake gluten-free products on a smaller scale and do not have excessive storage space, you can assemble your order from 3 kg bags instead of 25 kg sacks. In laminate packaging, flours, flakes, and flour mixes remain fresh for approximately 12 months from the packaging date. We deliver small orders as postal packages directly to your door. You can order products for both production and resale purposes in the same shipment.

The challenges of gluten-free baking differ from those of traditional baking. If our standard product range does not offer a suitable solution for your needs, a customized flour blend may be the answer. We supply many customers with flour blends made to unique recipes, for sweet or savory baked goods.
